Walter Wright was played by Paul Winfield in Cliffhanger.
He was a federal agent, who tracked the destroyed plane down with a helicopter.
He made sure that Gabe and the others would be recovered from the ordeal they had gone into after tracking Qualen and Travers down, when everything was over.
