Samuel L. Jackson (born December 21, 1948) is an American film actor who played the character Zeus Carver in the film Die Hard with a Vengeance. He also appeared as FBI agent protagonists in other Die Hard scenario films such as Danny Roman in The Negotiator, as Neville Flynn in Snakes on a Plane, as anti-hero Henry Harold 'H' Humphries in Unthinkable and portraying the President in Big Game.

Career[]

Jackson is most known for other notable roles in films such as GoodFellas, Patriot Games, Menace II Society, Jurassic Park, True Romance, Pulp FictionA Time to Kill, Jackie Brown, Rules of Engagement, Shaft, Unbreakable, the Star Wars prequel trilogy, The IncrediblesKill BillJungle Fever, Coach Carter, 1408, Iron Man (as well as the various Avengers spin-offs and team-up films) and many other films of note. He is one of the most bankable stars in Hollywood today. Jackson has appeared in various films by filmmakers such as Spike Lee, Quentin Tarantino and Renny Harlin and has gotten several nominations for his scene-stealing performances. He has also done numerous notable voice-overs roles for cartoon films and video games including the "Afro Samurai" mini-series.
