Lt. Cmdr Ron Hunter
Lt. Commander Ron Hunter is one of the main protagonists of the 1995 military action thriller Crimson Tide and is portrayed by actor Denzel Washington.
Character Summary[]
As the new executive officer of the USS Alabama, Hunter comes to a clash of wills between himself and the seasoned commanding officer, Captain Frank Ramsey. It troubles Hunter knowing that Ramsey is the sub's commanding officer and one of few commanders left in the U.S. Navy with a nuclear missile submarine. It's not made any easier when what arises from conflicting interpretations of an order to launch their missiles.
