Peter Weller (born June 24, 1947) is an American film and stage actor, director and history lecturer best known for playing the titular role in the first two installments of the Robocop franchise (with Kurtwood Smith and Ray Wise). Other film credits include: The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension, Mighty Aphrodite, Naked Lunch, Once Fallen (with Ed Harris), Dragon Eyes (with Jean-Claude Van Damme) and Star Trek into Darkness. Weller has had recurring roles on shows such as "Odyssey 5", "24", "Dexter", "Sons of Anarchy", "Longmire", the new "Hawaii Five-0" and "The Strain". He also guest-starred on "Star Trek: Enterprise", "Las Vegas", "Fringe", "House", "Psych" and "The Mob Doctor" (with William Forsythe and Michael Madsen).
