Kiefer Sutherland (born December 21, 1966) is a British-Canadian voice/stage/film actor, record producer, film producer, and film director who has worked regularly with filmmakers such as Rob Reiner, Joel Schumucher and Brad Mirman, and was considered an unofficial member of the Brat Pack. He is reknown for playing Jack Bauer on the long-running "24" television series and his film credits include: The Lost Boys, Flatliners (with Oliver Platt), The Vanishing (with Sandra Bullock), Freeway, A Time to Kill (again with Bullock and with Samuel L. Jackson and Kurtwood Smith), Truth or Consequences, N.M., Dark City, To End All Wars, Taking Lives (with Ethan Hawke and Angelina Jolie), The Sentinel, Mirrors, The Reluctant Fundamentalist, Pompeii and Jon Cassar's Forsaken (with Michael Wincott and Greg Ellis).
In 2011, Sutherland appeared as the lead on a Hulu online original series "The Confession", which was later edited together and released on home video formats and on Netflix streaming as a complete movie.
