Javelin reusable launch tubes.

The FGM-148 Javelin is a type of portable "fire and forget" surface-to-air missile.

In use since 1996, the Javelin was invented in England to replace the Dragon anti-tank homing missile. The Javelin was used in the 2003 Invasion of Iraq on Iraqi Type 69 and Lion of Babylon tanks. In one short engagement, a platoon of special forces troops equipped with Javelins destroyed two T-55 tanks, eight armored personnel carriers and four troop trucks

The average cost for a single Javelin missile is $78,000 and $126,000 for a reusable Command Launch Unit. Each missile alone weighs 26 pounds and the launch unit weighs 14 pounds, and when loaded, the weapon weighs 49 pounds total.

White House Down[]

It was used by the paramilitary terrorists in White House Down. John Cale, being a former marine, immediately recognized the expensive equipment. Oddly enough, in 2003, the United States General Accounting Office (GAO) reported that the Army could not account for 36 Javelin command launch units totaling approximately $2.8 million. The New York Times later reported supply chain problems at military armories and warehouses in 2004 and expressed concerns of weapons falling into enemy hands. The filmmakers of White House Down may have included Javelins as a nod to the theft, meaning that the paramilitary group may be using Javelins that are some of the missing rocket launchers.
