Halle Berry (born August 14, 1966) is an award-winning fashion model-turned-American actress of over 40 feature-length films. She is best known for her roles in the films Monster's Ball, X-Men movie franchise, the CBS science fiction show "Extant" and Things We Lost in the Fire. Other credits include Jungle Fever (with Wesley Snipes and Samuel L. Jackson), the TV mini-series "Queen", Race the Sun, Bulworth, the telefilms Introducing Dorothy Dandridge and Their Eyes Were Watching God. Other recent films include Cloud Atlas, The Call (with Morris Chestnut) and Tulia.
In 1996, Berry appeared in the Die Hard scenario film Executive Decision as flight attendant heroine Jean as well as the deceiving femme fatale Ginger in 2001's Swordfish.
