Ed Harris (born November 28, 1950) is an award-winning American actor of over 90 motion pictures and who is widely recognized for his ability to steal the show and wow audiences worldwide. One of the few times he appeared in action-oriented work was the 1996 blockbuster The Rock as the anti-hero Brigadier General Frank Hummel. Harris' film credits include: Knightriders, China Moon, Apollo 13, Pollock, The Hours and Gravity.
