Welcome to the Die Hard scenario wiki |

The Die Hard Scenario Wiki is a collaborative website dedicated to sharing information about the films related to the concept of Die Hard, which revolutionized the action genre and led to the creation of movies that have the scenario of Die Hard, such as the pre-dated film Commando (which was by the same writers and producers), the Die Hard film series, Hard Boiled, Under Siege, Passenger 57, Cliffhanger, Speed, GoldenEye, Sudden Death, Broken Arrow, Executive Decision, The Rock, Star Trek: First Contact, Air Force One, Panic Room, Phone Booth, Cellular, 16 Blocks, Snakes on a Plane, Taken, Buried, Olympus Has Fallen, White House Down, The Raid, Dredd, John Wick, The Equalizer and Run All Night, among others related to the Die Hard concept. This is a growing wiki and any help in detailing articles will not go unappreciated.
This wiki will contain articles of the Die Hard scenario films, characters, locations, weapons and other miscellaneous stuff that involved those films. As with any groundbreaking film series, such as Jaws, Star Wars, Alien, Basic Instinct, Jurassic Park, The Sixth Sense or Fight Club, they will always have their imitators. Most Die Hard Scenario movies feature an enclosed (although this is not necessary to the plot) location taken over by heavily armed criminals or terrorists and one lone hero who must find their way out of the mess and save the day! There are two primary types of this film genre: the original Die Hard clones, which use a single location, or the newer Die Hard clones, which either use entire cities or a wide variety of locations, yet still maintain the same basic feel to the story. |
The wiki format allows anyone to create or edit any article, so we can all work together to create the site. Because this is a growing Wiki, any help detailing and expanding articles will not go unappreciated. Check out the FAQ to help you get started!
Photos and videos are a great way to add visuals to a wiki. Find videos about a topic by exploring Wikia's Video Library.

Cliffhanger is Die Hard in the... Rocky Mountains? That's right. Put Sylvester Stallone and John Lithgow into a failed heist over the icy peaks of Colorado and the chaos that ensues and you have one chaotic film. It's a deadly game of hide and seek when a disgraced mountain climber must scale the peaks and get to the money that the theives are after first before his friends are killed. Arguably the most serious of all the Die Hard scenario films released in recent memory and one of the few to actually recieve a positive critical reception, Cliffhanger means business and with a solid cast and director, this makes for one suspenseful flick.
In this film, Gabe Walker (Stallone), an ex-mountain rescue ranger haunted by his failure to save the fiancée of his friend Hal Tucker (Michael Rooker), is asked by his estranged girlfriend and fellow mountain ranger Jessie Deighan (Janine Turner) to help Hal rescue a few trapped hikers stranded in a plane crash, only for Gabe and Hal to find themselves taken captive by a gang of terrorists, led by cold-blooded ex-intelligence agent Eric Qualen (John Lithgow), and are forced to help them find three suitcases that contained $100 million after a failed mid-air heist. After Gabe escapes death from them, he sets to save Hal and defeat Qualen in the Colorado mountain range.
Check out the Deaths on Cliffhanger page for more information on the movie's total body count of 16!
