Danny Roman was was the main protagonist in 1998's The Negotiator. He is portrayed by Samuel L. Jackson.
Personality[]
He is a top negotiator of the CPD and a distinguished person as a whole. He is very good at his job, but he also has a tendency to take risks, needed or not. His colleagues are jealous of him. After his partner Nate was murdered, he was framed by the killers and everyone believed he was the killer. He sees no other choice but to take hostages in the police station where he works so that he can unravel the truth knowing that it is the only way to make it out in one piece.
